Roasted garlic is sweet, buttery perfection, and with a little olive oil and foil, you’ll have a spreadable, caramelized goldmine in no time. Get the biggest bag of pre-peeled cloves you can find and make as much as possible.. this stuff will have a permanent home in your fridge!

Roasted Garlic in Tin Foil
Prep time: 5 minutes
Cook time: 40-50 minutes
INGREDIENTS
- One large handful of garlic cloves
- 1 tbs olive oil
- A pinch of salt (optional)
- A pinch of black pepper (optional)
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat oven to 375F.
- Tear a square of tin foil and place on the counter.
- Add a heaping handful (about 20) garlic cloves to the center of the tin foil.
- Drizzle some olive oil, and add a pinch of salt and/or pepper if desired.
- Wrap the garlic tightly in the foil, creating a sealed packet.
- Place directly on the oven rack or on a baking sheet to avoid any potential spills.
- Roast for 40–50 minutes, until the cloves are golden and soft.
- Remove the garlic packet and let cool for 10 minutes.

NOTES
- Use immediately or store in the fridge in an airtight container for one week.
- I advise at least doubling this recipe if not more. I often times make as many 10 packets at once!
